Renee Gworek, Certified Zumba InstructorExercise and movement have always been a part of Renee's life. She began taking dance lessons at a very young age and was teaching by age 14. Renee taught Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe and Acro at Kathy's Dance Studio for over 20 years. During that time she received her Bachelor's degree from Elms College in Art Education.
Renee taught Dance and Art to high school students at West Springfield High School until 2007 when she decided to stay home with her children. Renee tried her first Zumba class in 2009 as a way to get back into shape after having twins and has been doing so ever since! She became a certified Zumba instructor in 2011 and has been a Zin member since 2012. Besides being a stay at home mom to four and a Zumba instructor, Renee is also an Independent Consultant for Arbonne International; an online health and wellness company. Renee resides in Holyoke with her husband Jeff and their children, Kelsey, Patrick, Cal and Keighley (and black lab Gilligan). |

Missi Richardson, AFFA Certified Personal Trainer ACE Certified Golf Conditioning ExpertMissi Richardson graduated from Fitchburg State University and earned a degree in Psychology with a specialization in Human Resources. She worked for The Yankee Candle Company for 15 years in its Human Resources Department in various roles and for a variety of divisions honing her people skills. Additionally, Missi worked as a private consultant to startup companies helping them to hire new employees and create policies/procedures.
Throughout her career Missi always had a love for fitness and overall well being. In 2010 Missi made the decision to become certified as a personal trainer so that she could combine her two passions, working with people and fitness. Prior to joining McGannon Fitness, she has worked at the Northampton Athletic Club, in private homes and she is currently teaching low impact/strength training classes at the Northampton council on Aging. Missi is a native of Easthampton and is raising her own family there as well. |
