Nutrition Coaching
McGannon Fitness and Nutrition offers individual Nutrition Coaching services provided by Certified Nutrition Coach, Wendy McGannon.
Proper nutrition is an important part of a healthy lifestyle and is essential to those who are trying to lose weight, decrease body fat, and/or increase muscle mass. Exercise alone will not take the weight off. We have to change our eating habits while we also move are bodies more, and as everyone is slightly different, there is no nutritional plan that is “one size fits all”.
People who take part in our Nutritional Coaching Program will receive the following services:
Comprehensive Client Assessment
Nutrition Education & Support

People who take part in our Nutritional Coaching Program will receive the following services:
Comprehensive Client Assessment
- Bioelectrical Impedance Scale will be used to measure each client’s starting weight, body mass index (BMI,) hydration levels, and calorie needs.
- Tape measurements will be taken of several sites on the body with each client
- Body Fat measurement will be taken with the use of skin fold calipers. Subcutaneous fat will be measured at several different sites in order to compute overall body fat percentages.
- Baseline Visual Assessment data will be collected by taking four photos of each client while facing front, back, and on each side.
Nutrition Education & Support
- Clients will be given information on how to change their current eating habits to become healthier, lose weight, and increase energy levels
- All clients will be expected to complete food journals to receive ongoing support and information on how to improve the quality of their current diets
- Strategies for eating “on the go” and during stressful times are shared and well as healthy recipes
- Handouts and information will be shared with clients related to each of their individual needs
- Menu planning, grocery shopping tours, kitchen makeovers and other services are offered to clients as needed
Fee For Nutritional Coaching: $100 per hour
